He specializes in asset-agnostic acquisition, development, and investment, having spent time in M&A, Consulting, Institutional REITs and Family Offices for ultra-high net worth individuals.

His expertise in development management spans from initial concept to project completion, ensuring that objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

As a versatile and resourceful professional, Alex excels at achieving “wins” for his teams in various capacities.

Nigel Terpstra

Director, Development

Nigel brings fifteen years of experience as a development professional having worked previously as a planning consultant, then as a manager at a large Canadian REIT, as well as several private residential development firms.

His passion for architecture and cities, as well as his deep understanding of municipal process make him uniquely skilled at managing development projects in a variety of asset classes at different stages in the entitlement and construction process.

Nigel’s interest in development is full cycle, from site analysis and feasibility work, to acquisition and entitlements, through construction and leasing, to project handover and disposition.

Kyle Brill

Senior Manager, Development & Product Design

Kyle is a multidisciplinary designer and real estate development professional with a global perspective shaped by international experience. He holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Waterloo and brings a diverse background in architecture, urbanism, and product design.

With over a decade of experience in the AEC industry, Kyle integrates design excellence with financial acumen and strategic foresight to lead high-impact developments across scales. His approach emphasizes innovation, efficiency, and long-term value creation for partners and stakeholders.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Kyle is an avid photographer, home cook, cyclist, and enthusiast of science fiction.

Tristan Lipton

Manager, Finance

Tristan heads Elysium’s finance and deal analysis, with a focus on data-based underwriting and deal return projections.

A chartered professional accountant with over 5 years of finance and accounting experience in the real estate development and mining sectors.

Tristan received his CPA designation in 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Outside the office, Tristan likes to spend his time writing and performing music with various groups, staying active, and performing sketch comedy.

Jake Mintz

Manager, Acquisition

Jake is a real estate professional with over two of hands-on experience in the industry.

Since graduating three years ago, Jake has been taking real estate courses on top of his hands-on work experience.

Jake, has many connections in the industry and nurtures new and existing industry relationships for Elysium.

Outside the office, Jake enjoys playing and watching sports, drone photography and concerts.

Umesh Prabhakar

Chief Accountant

Umesh has more than 20 years of experience in preparing and finalizing various financial reports while ensuring compliances with accounting standards.

He has expertise in preparing and filing tax documents. He has provided his services to various manufacturing companies, IT companies, Law firms, Real estate brokerages, Advertisement agencies, Hospitality industry etc.

Anne Marie Gallivan

Executive Assistant

Anne Marie has worked with Mintz & Partners, Deloitte and Minkids Group for more than 40 years.

She has extensive experience in administration, office management and accounting.
